Why do we ask for an IBAN and SWIFT/BIC code?

At the minute, UK banks do not provide accounts to businesses that operate in the Bitcoin/cryptocurrency industry, and this means we must bank elsewhere (Europe).

Payments to and from our bank account are made via the SWIFT and SEPA payment systems. These payments require an International Bank Account Number (IBAN) and SWIFT/BIC code rather than the traditional account number and sort code that you may be used to with UK to UK bank transfers.

Your IBAN and SWIFT/BIC code should be easily located on your bank statement, but if they are not then your bank will be able to assist.
