How do I receive Bitcoin?

CoinCorner users are given a free wallet that can be used to send, receive and store Bitcoin. You can send your funds from another wallet or Exchange to your CoinCorner wallet, and the process for doing so can be found below.

Receiving Bitcoin on the website

While the majority of the receiving process is done from the other wallet/Exchange, you can find what is needed from our side on both the website and the mobile app. A guide on receiving Bitcoin to your CoinCorner wallet follows:

Step One: Login to your account

Click here to go to our login page, or here to sign up.

Step Two: Go to the Wallet page

To send to your CoinCorner wallet you will need to enter your receiving wallet address at the other wallet/Exchange. Your wallet address can be located on our Wallet page in the 'Receive' tab, you will need to generate one if you haven't already.

Your wallet address can then be found on this page in both alpha numeric format and as a QR code.

Step Three: Enter CoinCorner wallet address on your other wallet/Exchange Send page

The person sending will need to enter your wallet address on the Send page of their wallet/Exchange (or they can scan your QR code).

Once the Bitcoin has been sent it will require confirmation on the Blockchain, the funds will appear in your wallet when the transaction has received 4 confirmations.

Receiving Bitcoin on the mobile app

The CoinCorner app can be downloaded from both the iOS and Android app stores. The process for finding your wallet address on the app is as follows:

Step One: Login to the mobile app

Login to the mobile app with your usual details, if you have forgotten your 4 digit passcode you can find out how to reset it here.

Step Two: Go to the Receive tab

Open the menu by tapping the three lines in the top left corner, you can then head to our Receive tab.

Your wallet address can be found on this page in both alpha numeric format and as a QR code.

Step Three: Enter CoinCorner wallet address on your other wallet/Exchange Send page

The person sending will need to enter your wallet address on the Send page of their wallet/Exchange (or they can scan your QR code).

Once the Bitcoin has been sent it will require confirmation on the Blockchain, the funds will appear in your wallet in a pending state when received, and can be spent once they have received 4 confirmations.

Note: For large Bitcoin deposits you may be asked by our team to provide us with enhanced due diligence regarding the deposit.
