If you have ever wanted to send Bitcoin to someone for a birthday or Christmas, or just in a more fun way than a typical Bitcoin send, then we have you covered.
We have a service in place that allows you to send Bitcoin to someone via email using one of our pre-designed gift card templates. A guide on how to do so can be found below:
Step One: Login to your CoinCorner account
Click here to go to our login page, or here to sign up.
Step Two: Go to the Gift Cards page
Click Gift Cards in the sidebar of your account, or click here.
Step Three: Choose your card
Choose the card you are after from our selection of templates.
Step Four: Customise your card
Fill out all the fields to personalise your gift card. The example on the right hand side of the screen will update to show you what the recipient will see.
Step Five: Send your gift
When you are happy for it to be sent click Send Gift at the bottom of the page. If your card was sent successfully then you will be notified on the following page, and you can check whether or not the gift has been redeemed on the Card History page.
Below is a guide on how to redeem a CoinCorner gift card.
Step One: Go to your inbox and redeem the Bitcoin
Your gift card will be sent via email to the recipient who can redeem the Bitcoin by clicking Redeem Bitcoin on the gift card within the email.
Step Two: Credit the Bitcoin your wallet
Enter the wallet you would like the Bitcoin to be credited to in the text box and click Redeem Gift and the funds will be sent.
If you don't have a wallet address you can create an account at CoinCorner and have the funds credited to your CoinCorner wallet by clicking the orange Create Bitcoin Wallet button.
Step Three: Process complete
If the wallet address you enter is a CoinCorner wallet address then the funds will be available in your wallet immediately. If you enter an external wallet address then the funds will be added to our queue ready to be broadcast to the network and will appear in the receiving wallet when the transaction has received the required amount of confirmations on the network.
The sender will also receive an email letting them know that the gift card has been redeemed.
