What is an 'Inactive Account'?

If you have not logged into your account for a period of twenty four (24) consecutive months then your account will be considered inactive (“Inactive Account”) and shall incur a monthly administration fee (which may be deducted in Fiat Currency or Digital Assets).


How can I avoid being charged?

Avoiding an inactive account fee is easily done. We will send a warning email to your registered email address the two months prior to your first fee deduction informing you that your account is inactive and will be subject to the inactive account fee should you not login.

There are a two options available to users to avoid being subject to the inactive account fee:

  • Simply login (either on the CoinCorner website or the mobile app) to reactivate your account*. Logging in will reset the 24 month timer before your account is deemed inactive again.
  • Withdraw your account balance(s) to reach zero.

* in addition, you can close your account


Will you take money from my bank account?

No, we'll never take money from your bank account. The inactive monthly fee will only be charged to the remaining balance in your CoinCorner account. Once you login to reactivate your account or the balance reaches zero, the monthly fee will no longer be charged.
