What if I lose my Bolt Card?

Your Bolt Card can be both activated and de-activated from the CoinCorner app. If you lose your Bolt Card then we recommend you disable the card to prevent anyone who finds it from using it. 

A guide on how to de-activate both a Bolt Card and a gift card can be found below.

 

Deactivating a Bolt Card

Login to the mobile app and go into the Cards tab from the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. Tap The Bolt Card to view the Bolt Card linked to your account.

To disable the card you will need to tap the Enable/disable card toggle so it is on the left. As long as this toggle is disabled then the card can't be used and no funds can be debited from your account.

You can wipe the card by tapping Wipe Card and then holding the card to the back of the phone until this completes. This will remove the card from your account but does require you to have the card to hand to do so. 

If you lose the card and need it to be removed from your account so you can set another up then you will need to email support@coincorner.com who can do this for you.

 

Deactivating a gift card

Login to the mobile app and go into the Cards tab from the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.

Tap Gift Cards to view all gift cards you have linked to your account.

Similar to a Bolt Card, you can disable a gift card by flicking the toggle to the left. Any disabled gift cards will not be able to be wiped or used to pay for goods.

While a Bolt Card can't be removed from your account without having the physical card with you, gift cards can be. To remove a gift card from your account all you need to do is tap the Delete button and it will remove the card and credit any sats on it back to your CoinCorner BTC balance.
